This wine is developing complexity and style. Produced with fruit from the Conte vineyard in the heart of the Heathcote region. The wine was barrel fermented in new, two and three year old Franch oak. Matured in the same oak for eighteen months.
Vibrantly brick red coloured. Black cherry, blackberry, plum and white pepper aromas. The medium bodied palate is focused and balanced and the fresh plum and blackberry fruit flavours are interlaced with a fine tannin structure. A rich savoury mid palate and persistancy is supported with integrated oak.
