Mount Frome is a mixed culture Wild Ale made with a blend of grain and grapes. Making the best of a terrible situation, smoke affected Shiraz grapes were picked at Gilbert Family Wines in Mudgee, NSW and then pressed and blended with a base beer brewed at our Sydney brewery before fermenting and ageing in ex-Shiraz French Oak barrels for 7 months. Mount Frome pours rosè in colour, with a fine beaded carbonation from bottle conditioning. Expect funk, spice, cherry, oak, tannin and a unique smoke finish. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 5 years.
